Olympics Terms & Conditions

If you are interested in booking your accommodation for the London 2012 Olympics with us here at LondonUP! please read this page which explains our booking Terms & Conditions for this special event.

Package Booking

Bookings for accommodation during the Olympic season in London will be accepted on a package basis. What does this mean?

 

DATES

  • It means that to book for the Olympics you have to book the accommodation from at least the 27/07/2012 until 12/08/2012.

  •  

  • Bookings for the Paralympics must be from at least 29/08/2012 until 09/09/2012. These are minimum booking periods for each event.

  •  

 

BOOKING PROCEDURE

  • The total cost of your booking will then be calculated (including security and key deposits which are normally refunded at the end of your stay)

  •  

  • In order to secure your accommodation you will need to pay 50% of this total when you book

  •  

  • The remaining 50% of the booking value has to be paid at least 8 weeks before the start date of your booking (your arrival date at our accommodation)

 

If this second half is not paid, your booking will be considered cancelled by you and what you have paid already will not be refundable.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

What happens if I decide to cancel my booking after I have paid the first 50% of the cost?

 

  • If you cancel more than 8 weeks before your arrival date we will be able to refund half of what you paid so far

 

  • If you cancel less than 8 weeks before your arrival date we will not be able to refund you

 

  • If you do not pay the second 50% of your booking and we do not hear from you before the 8 week cut-off point we will not be able to refund you and your booking will be considered cancelled by you
