Do I need a visa?

EU citizens do not need a visa to enter the UK and are allowed to work with no permit, as part of the Schengen regulations. All other travellers to Great Britain will need a visa and a working permit. There might be agreements between your home country's administration and the UK Home Office so it is recommended that you check the UK Embassy's information in your country first.

The UK Border Agency, responsible for visa issues, has lots of helpful information on its website so you can easily figure out whether you need a visa or not. Moreover, you will find most of the information you need regarding immigration procedures in the UK and online application forms too.
